Bill and Mary Lou Endicott
Devoted partners, proud Mainers, and lifelong contributors to service and community
Bill Endicott was born in 1937 in Belgrade, Maine, and spent part of his early education overseas, graduating from Nouasseur High School in French Morocco. He went on to earn a degree from the University of Maine and later completed a Master’s in Business at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Bill dedicated 22 years to active duty as a Regular Army Officer, followed by nearly two decades in public service for the Commonwealth of Virginia. He worked as a Computer Systems Chief Engineer for 9 years and ultimately retired in 2000 after serving 10 years as Deputy Director of the Department of Technology.
Mary Lou Endicott was also born in 1937, in Waterville, Maine, and graduated from Belgrade High School. She studied at Gates Business College in Augusta, Maine, and spent many years as a devoted Army wife. Throughout Bill’s military career, Mary Lou cultivated a professional life of her own—working in women’s fashion sales, serving as an airline ticket agent for a regional carrier in Europe, and later contributing to state service as a Loan Officer with the Virginia Department of Student Loans, where she worked for 15 years before retiring.
Together, Bill and Mary Lou now live in Richmond, VA. Mary Lou loves her cats and Bill enjoys going to walk the track with his friends to stay active.
