Kyle and Morgan

Kyle grew up in Gloucester, VA, where after high school he thought, “Why not make life harder?” and hopped on a bus to Marine Corps boot camp. Four years, one deployment to Djibouti, and way too many MREs later, he came home. Back in Gloucester, he reconnected with Morgan (his middle school friend turned future wife), and the rest is history.

Morgan grew up in Vermont, and after Nora came along, the three of them decided to make Albany, NY, their home base. They got married in January 2020 in the very glamorous location of the courthouse parking lot—COVID chic, with Nora and Morgan’s dad as witnesses. Together, the family loves to hike and bike the pretty parts of upstate NY when they manage to leave the house.

Kyle’s favorite memories with Jon are from their childhood in Founders Mill, building forts and paintball courses in the woods, basically living every 12-year-old boy’s dream. These days, Kyle’s “hobbies” mostly involve crushing kids half his age in Fortnite.

And as for Victoria—she always makes us laugh and feel right at home. We’re so excited she’s joining the family (and honestly, Jon’s pretty lucky she said yes).

“We’re basically just two weirdos who found each other and decided to make it permanent.”
