Stasia Marzen

Stasia grew up in the Rochester, NY area, spending most of her childhood in Scottsville-Chili and Henrietta. Many of her fondest memories, however, come from weekends and summers spent at her grandfather Vic’s farm in Newark Valley, NY—a place that always felt like home. As an adult, she remained in the Rochester area for a time before moving to Atlanta for a few years. Eventually, she returned to New York and was fortunate enough to live on her grandfather’s farm for 18 years. After another 12 years back in Rochester, Stasia was able to return once more to Newark Valley—and this time, buy back the very home her grandfather had built.

Today, she lives in that special home in Newark Valley, NY, alongside her husband, Jim Marzen. Together, they enjoy the peacefulness and charm of country life.

Stasia’s love for horses began early. She grew up around ponies and horses, learned to ride at a very young age, and was lucky enough to own horses as an adult. One of her favorite memories is when a young Victoria came to visit and they went riding together—an experience that now feels full circle, as Victoria has begun taking riding lessons of her own. That shared passion has meant so much to Stasia, and it has even inspired her to start looking into local stables so she can begin riding again, too.

One of her most cherished memories of Victoria is holding her as a newborn. Stasia, along with her parents, drove all the way from New York to North Carolina as soon as they heard Victoria’s mom was in labor—just to be there when she was born. From that moment on, she has held dear every moment of seeing Victoria grow into “the incredibly awesome woman she is today.”
